Privacy Policy for Solitaire

Effective 6 October 2026 · Android app com.solitaire.classicklondike

In short: Solitaire does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet at all. Everything the game remembers stays on your device.

Information the app keeps on your device

To let you carry on where you left off, the app saves a few things in its own private storage on your phone or tablet:

None of this identifies you, and none of it leaves your device through the app. Other apps cannot read it. The app also makes its own sound effects and keeps them in its cache, which holds nothing about you.

Internet access and permissions

The app does not ask for permission to use the internet, so it cannot send or receive any data online. It does not ask for any other permission either: no location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files. Vibration uses your device's built-in touch feedback, which needs no permission and follows your system settings.

Backups made by Android

If you have turned on backup in your device's settings, Android may include the app's saved data (described above) in your device backup, so that your game and statistics come back when you set up a new device. This backup is handled by Google as part of Android, stored in your own Google account, and covered by Google's privacy policy, not by the app. You can turn it off at any time in your device's backup settings.

Third parties

The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or social-media software, and shares no data with anyone. It is built with Google's standard Android libraries (AndroidX and Jetpack Compose), which run entirely on your device.

Children

Solitaire is suitable for players of all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Removing your data

You can reset your statistics from the Statistics screen inside the app. To remove everything the app has saved, clear the app's storage in your device's settings, or simply uninstall the app.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this policy will be updated first and the effective date above will change.
