Notification Saver puts your privacy first. This policy explains exactly what the app does with your information. The short version: your notifications never leave your device.

Where your data lives

Every notification this app captures is saved only on your device, in a local database inside the app's private storage. Your notification history is never uploaded to any server or cloud, never shared with the developer, and never sent to any third party. The app has no backend and contains no code that transmits it anywhere.

What is stored

• Notification content: title, text, expanded (big) text, sub-text
• Source app package name and label, plus that app's icon
• Notification category and the timestamps at which it was posted and dismissed
• Your own additions: pins, tags and keyword rules
• Your app settings (theme, retention period, app allow/block filter)

No sharing, no tracking

We never share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. We have added no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no trackers. The developer receives nothing about you and has no access to your notification history.

The one third-party component in the app is Google's billing library, included so Pro can be sold. Like other Google libraries it reports its own operational diagnostics to Google, which is covered by Google's privacy policy rather than ours; we neither configure nor receive any of it. It is given nothing about your notifications.

Purchases

The app is free to install. Notification Saver Pro is an optional purchase, sold through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play — Notification Saver never sees or stores your card, address, or any payment detail. All it keeps is a single yes/no record on your device of whether Pro is active, so the app still works offline.

Offering Pro requires Google's billing library, and that library is the reason the app lists the INTERNET permission. It is the only network-capable code in the app: we write no networking of our own, and nothing derived from your notifications is ever given to it. Your notification history has no route off this device.

Because the purchase is attached to your Google account rather than to this app, Pro returns automatically when you sign in on a new phone. Nothing about your notifications is involved in a purchase, and buying Pro sends the developer no information about you.

Why Notification Access is needed

Android requires the special Notification Access permission (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) to read other apps' notifications. This is the app's core function: it is used solely to save and display your own notifications, for no other purpose. You grant this permission manually in Android Settings and can revoke it at any time, which immediately stops all capture.

Permissions used

• Notification Access — to capture notifications (core functionality).
• Receive boot completed — so capture resumes after a restart.
• Package visibility query — to list your installed apps in the app filter and keyword-rule pickers. Nothing about your installed apps leaves the device.
• Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING) — to offer Notification Saver Pro and to check whether you already own it.
• Internet (android.permission.INTERNET) — required by Google's billing library, which is the only component that uses it. This app sends nothing of its own over the network, and never your notifications.

Your control

• App filter — using the allow/block list in Settings, you decide which apps' notifications are saved.
• Keyword rules — you can mark matching notifications as "never save".
• Retention — choose how long old notifications are kept (7, 30 or 90 days, or forever) before they are deleted automatically.
• Deletion — delete a single notification or clear everything at any time.
• Export & backup — export your data as JSON, CSV or plain text, or make an optionally password-encrypted backup. These files are written only where you choose, through the Android file picker.
• App lock — protect the app with a PIN or your fingerprint.
• Uninstalling the app permanently removes all saved data.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "last updated" date, and the in-app copy will be updated to match.
